it was totally awsome. the food was great but the service, eh. and for people who dont like bad service toughen up. and dont go there on a friday its packed

The pizza may be the best, but the service is surely the worse you can get. I was there with my wife and the owner put us behind the door, at a really unpleasant spot. The waiter came and threw a menu with lots of options and came back within less than 1 minute and got angry since we were still looking at it. We would have asked something to drink, ...

Pizza was fine with thin crust but... maitre d was offensive to tourists from Asia and thos dining alone.

Although once you arrive there is always a line, I never waitied more than 15 mins in the 3 times i've gone. also the man is very rude, but its part of the atmosphere. Sometimes once you order the pizza can take like 35 mins becuase there are only 2 men making pizzas for the entire restaurant. But, it has always been worth every minute.

First of all, the Pizza was excellent! However... I was in Rome for one night, by myself, before meeting my girlfriend in Milan. I had heard a great deal about Baffetto, so I was excited to try it!

I went on a Friday night and the line was long. I finally made my way to the front after an hour. I told the waiter I was alone and he just blew me ...

The service is very-very bad !!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

In the four years I lived in Rome and was a regular customer, I never once had a failure. It was always a place to take visitors.

We booked an extra night in Rome after going to another part of Italy just so we could go back to Da Baffetto. It has such a good atmosphere and it's very basic. No fancy nonsense, just amazing pizzas and a bottle of beer! Lovely!

I have family in Rome, and as a kid the whole family used to go. I haven't been there for quite a while, but I am going to Rome again in July 2008 and will be going back (it's been too long!!). BE WARNED: once you taste a pizza from this place, ALL others will taste inferior - trust me.....
