Ok for a tourist, but wouldn't pass a localI went to this place because there were few reviews for anywhere else online. I thought the food was ok, but not exceptional. The service was average and overall I think it was just ok. Does it best represent Italian gastronomy? Certainly not. However, it is located near the tourist hotels and they do have a nice wine selection.OVERALL

Extraordinary restaurantI was there in 2001 and went back several times, the last time dragging some friends who are still thanking me today. here's what I wrote in my journals at the time:
We had an 8-course fixed-price menu at the chef’s whim, and it was extraordinary. I reproduce the entire thing here for posterity:
