definite must goMy wife and i and her mother and father went last week and had three of the best meals of our lives.

Amazing little discoveryThe concerge at my Hotel suggested to check out this Tratoria. I liked it so much, I went almost every day. Food is excellent, service too. Well located. Don't miss this!This was a wonderful restaurant. We arrived with reservation (recommended as they turned at least 8 parties away and there were 6 or more waiting when we were leaving) to a very courteous staff and the food was out of this world. One of my favouritesSlightly out of the way, but worth the effort. Great home cooking, though would have liked to see a few different vegetables as side dishes. The stuffed rabbit/pork was memorable. a treatLast year we went to Rome for a weekend.
From the three nights we slept in Rome we visited trattoria Monti twice. This because the first night it was full.
They serve authentic italian food with a modern twist. Delicious! The winelist is fabulous.
And all this in a friendly ambiance with a high level of service.

something for everyone!We met our college-age daughter and her friend for dinner - each of us found something delicious which suited whether we were famished or not very hungry. The roast beef was excellent, as were the pasta with sausage and the amaretto ice cream with chocolate sauce. The waiters were attentive and friendly.
