We ordered the fried artichoke. When they brought it, they brought it with two other appetizers which we did not want. But we were charged anyhow, in a bait and switch method. The food is good, but not outstanding. The service was poor, and we felt like we had been had. This is a tourist trap. Avoid it. There are plenty of other lovely restaurants in the same area.

I'm very well-traveled, and this restaurant rates right up there with my top 10 in my travels. Have their specialty, fried artichoke - absolutely splendid! Get a table in the front room to the right hand side of the restaurant. When it's a sunny day and they have the doors open to the street, it's perfect for people watching.

This restaurant is amazing, just fabulous! I love going here, it's the best! I recommend this to anyone who likes kosher rome food. excellent, excellent!

We had lunch here, sitting at a nice table out on the street with a beautiful view of the Portico d'Ottavia. The food and service were wonderful. This was one of our two favorite dining experiences in Rome.

The fried artichokes are worth a trip to Rome!!! They are delicious - the restaurant is famous for them. The fried cod was excellent also. Giggetto is a very large restaurant on the inside with tables on the sidewalk outside under an awning.
