    The Battistero is beautiful and the dome is great to look at, but only for a few minutes. The cost is three euro and one of the more expensive time/value ratios in Florence. Think about that before visiting, the Duomo and Santa Croce were much better deals.

  • Most beautiful early medieval mosaic

    Outside elegance of simple design and proportions. The interior gold mosaic over all the cupola is like a dream.
    This mosaic transport me inside the middle age view of religion and Bible.
