San Lorenzo is too beautiful to be missedThe unfinished exterior facade is entirely misleading. The beauty to be beheld inside both architecturally and artistically is absolutely breath taking. If you are at all religiously inclined you are in for a moment of grace the minute you enter this moving church. Nice resting spotI use to love sitting in from of San Lorenze with my girlfriends after school eating gelato. This spot brings back so many memories. OH! The history!My FAVORITE church in Italy thus far. I have been here 3 times and each time, tears were brought to my eyes. Works by Donatello, Michelangelo, and Brunelleschi intrigue and amaze! I took all my guests to the first Renaissance Church. The facade designed by Michelagelo was never carried out and the exterior isn't impressive, but once inside you'll be amazed!You have found this review helpful.4 of 4 Yahoo!
