The food, atmosphere waiters and chefs (who you can hear singing and pounding veal in the kitchen) is top notch. This is by far one of the best dining experiences in Italy. It was recomended by a local who indicated that if he could dine anywhere in the City - that Garga's is where he would choose to go. He was right.

Make sure you have your wallet full because this
could be your most expensive meal in the city.
Food is average and the staff obviously has their
favorite clients.

There are many other great meals in the city for a fraction of the price.

Best food in the best place of firenze. The ambiance is very good, but the food is really great. You should taste the spagetti magnifico and the steak with tartufo &advocate. Wines are also very good, we take a chianti castello di ama and a great rosso di montalcino

I just love this restaurant. I had the pasta magnifico and what can I say, it was magnificent. All our meals were great, steak, veal, pasta. I liked the wine list - they had my favorite, Brunello di Montalcino. The waiters were great as well as the service. We will be back in Florence in early February and plan to dine here again.

The interior of the restaurant is very nice. The service is good but quite slow. We waited for a long time before the food finally came. The food is good but not impressive. I had a Florentine steak. It is ok but a little dry. The chocolate tart there is very very nice! It is rich but not too filling.

What I liked: EVERYTHING!
The food (now that is gourmet at a reasonable price!) the ambiance, the wonderful people who work there, the art on the walls.

What I didn't like... I can't think of anything.
