Very modern, elegant restaurant with new variations of classical tuscan dishes. Excellent service. Price was reasonable compared with other high end restaurants in Florence. I go there almost everytime that I am in Florence

It has been a while since I was here so I can't give specifics but in researching my next trip to Florence (I was there in 2002), I definately plan to go back to this place.

During our week in Florence, we wanted to have one dinner in a more elegant setting, and Alle Murate was an excellent choice. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed the sea bass, steak, wine, and chocolate mousse dessert. The menu was comparatively-expensive, but we knew what to expect.

Would recommend this restaurant, but expect to spend more than 100 euros.

This is an very attractive restaurant installed in a building with a mural of historical interest, guided tours take place while you eat. The food is good, but not exceptional, quite traditional actually for such a stylish restaurant. Worth a visit once, but not sure I would repeat.
