The place for fresh fish.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/07
After spending a few days travelling around the west coast of Ireland i must say that i have eaten some great seafood, but Mitchells Restaurant in Clifden was by far the best grub i had in a long while. I recommend the fresh crab cakes and Brill but there is a hugh choice of Fresh Fish to be had. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was intimate. I will be back.

Great night out.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/02/07
My friend and I went to Clifden for St. Patricks weekend and I must say the highlight of the weekend was the beautiful dinner we shared in Mitchells Seafood Rest. The food was outstanding esp the monk fish which was the nicest I have ever tasted. The service was top notch also.I actually returned on the following night and had the very same meal. Well Done Mitchells
