Call them what you like - this area is of exceptional beauty for all to visit. I grew up there and with city life there are many times I wish I was back in the peacefulnes of their surroundings (still unspoilt)

I was in Ireland for a month traveling in Sept. The Wicklow Mts. were so very beautiful and one of my favorite places of all (as well as Kilarny Ntl. Park). The mountains were a softer rendition of the countryside than the n.w. coastline that we had been traveling. In that area also is one of the worlds most beautiful castles and gardens, Powerscourt. There is so much more to that area than road commentary.
