poseidons temple in cape sounion sits on a bluff overlooking the aegian sea. it is a quick 1-1.5 hour trip from athens depending on traffic and point of origin. the trip hugs the coast and the panorama is truly special. there are several spots along the way to stop for a quick dip into the sea. the temple site is small as compared to delphi or the ...
36 euro. The bus takes you alongside the sea. The drive is very beautiful. The site of the Temple is peaceful. 3 hours of driving to and from and 1 hour at the site.
