I had a great time in Munchen.. The Sights were amazing and The Food and the People were awesome...
I enjoyed watching the Huge Clock in MarienPlatz and I also visted the Deutches Musuem.
I shopped on Maximilian Strasse. Which is the main street for all the high end shops ie: Prada, Gucci ect... I actually went into a shop called POOL ...
I have been to Marienplatz several times, and it never ceases to make me smile. It is one of Europe's great squares in my opinion, with a unique Bavarian feel. Whether you are looking for Spaetzle and Bratwurst, a new pair of designer shoes, or just to take in the wonderful atmosphere, it certainly does not disappoint.
There are few places as friendly and warm as Munich, and the Marienplatz is the center of it all. From here you go to all the major sights in the city, plus you're able to dine and drink like the locals. The history sweats out of every building, and you're only left to wonder what it would be like if not for the "bombings" in the 40's...
I loved the experience , the shops and the merchants that sat up outside even in the cold weather. The sights were beautiful. We went at Christmas and were lucky enough to see all the hand made crafts. It is a wonderful experience for the whole family.
Marienplatz is everything a photographer or a tourist could want to see in Germany. All the buildings are spectacular. There is plenty of food, beer and wine to sample as tastes of Germany.
A must see.

The Marienplatz is a great place to sample Munich food flowers and retail goods. The Glockenspiel is worth waiting for. The statues and fountains add a nice flavor.
