In spite of being a tourist place, it shows and feels like a very german environment. The music, the beer and the food are all very good and not expensive. It's a place to share and enjoy. I recommend it, if you are with a group you can have a great time.

A person's enjoyment of the Hofbr

This place is fun. They have a German band playing and its a huge room of picnic style benches where people go just to drink the beer. It is very touristy... you ask the locals how to get there and they sort of laugh at you. We Americans had a great time there though. Cheap beer, easy to get to, and in a good part of town. I hear the food is good too!

What's not to love about this joint? It's amazing and anybody who enters the place WILL have a great time. The food is delicious and the beer is wonderful. It's one of the best places I've ever been.

This is Germany as you imagine it. Great traditional food, great people, polka band, and a place known in history. Prices are fine as the food is worth it. Nice patio dining. Server was a little cold and grumpy but maybe she was at the end of a shift. I am eager to return for more brat and pretzels. Know the history before visiting.

Sure it's touristy, but it is also authentic. It is a fun place that should not be missed when you are in Munich.

The food was surprisingly delicious, the beer is great, the service was pleasant and prompt, and the atmosphere is a hoot. Stop by their gift shop on the way out for souvenirs both tacky and tasteful. Read up on the history of the Hofbrauhaus before you go, and you will enjoy it even more.

The Hofbrauhaus was a high point in my trip. The atmosphere was excellent and the beer even better. Absolutly worth a visit.
