Harbour-site: Prepare for hour-long sunday walkFrom the newly built quarter "HafenCity" over the historical harbour lane untill the mediterranean "Beach Clubs" in the end, the harbour site is perfect for a walk on sunday.

A must in Hamburg (the "heart")The harbour (Hafen) and all the businesses around it are the basis of Hamburg as a merchant city. It is a very large compact harbour, in Europe second only to Rotterdam, NL, and very fast. You can view all sorts of ships and activities (best on a boat round trip starting at Landungsbruecke). Also visit the storehouse area dating back to 1880 (Speicherstadt).OVERALL
