Be prepared to walk up 250+ stairs in a circular motion....... worth it!!

This was my second time to the Arc. The first was during the day. Second was at night. I liked it much better at night. It looks amazing all lite up. It is worth the trip there. But be careful crossing the street, you take your life in your own hands.

The number of cars driving around make you feel lie your in a game of frogger! The architecture is great! It's a once in a lifetime chance!

All roads lead to the center of Paris.....or so the pictures show anyway.The beautiful Arc is the place where Parisans held their flags high for their 1998 World Cup win and joined together with Bastille Day over a million proud Frenchmen partied long and hard.

I always dreamed of seeing the ark. and when I went to paris in jan 2008 i wasnt disapponited. to me paris woulnt be paris without it . Because I went in january there whent too many people .it really is the most impressive structure ive ever seen

You can only get to the Arc de Triomphe from a passageway that goes under it. (Don't confuse it with the subway entrances.)

Lots of people. Don't bother with the tour of the inside and the top, esp. if you are planning to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Check out the view from the Millennium Wheel is far better and more exciting.

It was really interesting. The art work was astounding, breathtaking, it was very impressive. I personally loved it it was gorgeous and beautiful. I loved it the beaty if it all is that it hadf so much deatial and you could see how hard they worked on it.

With all the zooming, honking traffic surrounding the Arc de Triomphe, it was hard to reconcile the structure with the old new reels from WWII.
It's almost better viewed from afar.
