I thought this was very interesting as it is not the sort of place people are normally allowed to go and therefore know little about what goes on under their feet. Yup. After seeing all of the sites above ground, head beneath the city for a very unusual tour. The sights, sounds, and smells of the Musee des Egouts de Paris are quite unique. We did the tour based on a recommendation, and had a lot of fun. What was even better was the looks on the faces of friends and relatives when we told them we toured the Paris sewers. Priceless!
