Not really any name brands that you think of when you think French.But, then I don't know any brands that the normal French person would know. A K-mart discount store.But, much prettier. I tell everyone I know about the store Tati -great stuff at fabulous prices...plus the items are so stylish! I was thrilled! Easy to get to from anywhere as it is close to the metro - my husband waited patiently while I found quite a few bargains - I will without a doubt go back!

I loved the clothes there especially the men's wear, totally light years ahead of the USA. I wanted to buy every suit in the place for a small price he could have had them all. Instead he went casual, although he did return to the states Very French........and he is a true PR. Love the place Keiko

I have been to Paris at least a dozen times, the latest being June 12-15. Whenever I go the first place I head for shopping at Tati which is right as you get off the Barbes-Rochechouart metro stop. Wow, I went to two of them, one at Pigalle and I thought, hey, prices are great, quality is okay, but selection is really great. I found a bigger Tati at a location north of Gard du Nord that was even better. It was about 7 different stores and had an amazing selection. It was sooooo busy but worth the experience. What is France good for? Wine, Chocolate Pies, Tartelletes, Paninis, Museums, and Tati.
