The salads were good but its hard to go wrong there. The pizza was so overloaded with cheese it made me feel ill and 1 of the diners had a bad tummy after eating it.

They own the restaurant opposite too - La Pizza! And further down La Tavern - something like that. So 3 chains in one street. The pizza was good but have to say - a tad too much cheese which made it a little too oily for my liking. My boyfriend had steak which was perfect - the salad was good too. Be warned though - portions are big - we ordered ...

It is fire-oven baked and there are blackened spots to prove it. I wish we had a place like this in the US. The cheese is thick and gooey. If the weather permits, eat outside so you can watch the pedestrians, and artists performing. It makes me hungry to think about them.

By far, some of the best pizza I've ever had. Went back 3 nights in row, just for the wood fired pizza. Wish it was here in California!!!
