  • A Must go!
    By Raffaele, 05/04/09
Fish was extraordinary (we had oysters and crabs). Quality/price was ok, considering that it's in the south of France.

Overall a great place for fresh fish!

  • Good food, terrible service
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/06
I liked the food very much. It was very fresh.
I did not like the way the customers are treated.
The french staff only speaks to you in french (even if it is clear that they understand perfectly english and italian) and treats every body with arrogance.

  • Fun, with a big F
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/15/05
I have rated it as a cafe, which it is, albeit a pricy one, and not an upmarket restaurant, which it does not pretend to be.
The shellfish on my "plat de fruits de mer" were excellent, fresh tasting and plentiful. All the tools required for shellfish eating were automatically provided, this makes for an easier life.

  • Good raw bar, but.....
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/05
I have been there a few times. Always packed with locals and tourists. If you miss eating fresh raw seafood, go fo it. It is very fresh but in terms of quality? I think it's average. Don"t expect to recieve good service, if you don"t speak french.

  • Nice in Nice
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/26/04
It's a must when you visit Nice. A good location combined with a really full selection of for example shellfishs of the season. Service is good. If you want to mix with the locals choose a table inside (if there is any available).

  • Simply Flawless
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/04
This is the best sea food bar I have ever been. The prawns and the lobster was simply amazing. It is a pitty that is not situated in Liverpool as I don't think I'll be going to Nice again. The staff were great and tried to comunicate with me as best as possible in English. Well done Guys!!

  • Great food and atmosphere
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/16/04
If you really like raw shellfish this is the place. The food is very fresh and well prepared (yes it is raw, but still prepared) although the french are not very keen taking off the shells (especially shrimps.) Highly recommended are the oysters, Special No 1. To wine and dine, 5 people, Euro 200.
