  • Rock church
    By RikV, 03/28/08
Very crowded place and limited opening hours.
Avoid visiting the church in the weekend, as many touring buses visit it then.
Nevertheless a pleasant atmosphere and worth the visit.

  • Serenely beautiful
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/06
After the opulence of churches in Russia this is serenely beautiful. It feels warm and cozy due to the natural rock walls, yet uplifting due to the glass ceiling and copper surrounds. It is more secular than religious but feels holy just the same.
I'll be stopping here again - I hope to reach it on public transportation and stay as long as I want!

  • Dome Rock Church
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/05
Its free to tour when no events are scheduled and different than most churches you will see elsewhere.

It would be a good place to go for those interested in Architecture and touring churches.

There are a few other ones to visit while in Helsinki, such as the Russian Orthodox and the Tuomio Kirkko near the outdoor market downtown.
