Porvoo is situated just off the E18 highway and is approximately about 40 minutes drive away from Helsinki. You can also reach this village by taking a cruise from Helsinki harbour on the Royal Line ferry Katerina. Its a great way to see Helsinki archipelago.The boat departs from Market Square in Helsinki.

I visited here for a day in 2000 and had the most wonderful day strolling around and taking many photos. Also meeting 2 delighful Frenchmem who took my photo which I later bleww up. I visited the lovely little tea house which had a delightful sign outside. Just wonderful atmosphere in the whole town. An excellent chice of day visits from Helsinki.
