Nice place with specific atmosphere and realy good food. Like home made. Real hungarian menu. The service was also nice. Not very elegant place but rather informal.

Great food and service unlike most of Helsinki

While Pannonia is a Hungarian restaurant, it has a variety of regular dishes. We had the sauerkraut meatballs that were recommended to us by the friendly hostess and we didnt regret. The food was great.
It's a very cozy restaraunt and has a homey feel to it, certainly worth visiting while in Helsinki.
