Tivoli is a must for all visitors to Copenhagen. Even in tourist season, the park's atmosphere has something for everyone, whether you prefer a romantic stroll along the lake in the quiet northeastern side of the park, or the bustle of all the attractions in the southern end. Live music, kid's theater, acrobats, rock concert every Friday nigt, light show every day, and fireworks every Saturday are all free.

My wife and I took our then 7 year old son, who is quite tall for his age, to the Tivoli Gardens in April 2005 and we found it a wonderful experience.

All things considered, my son and I were able to go on most rides as they are not too fast nor furious and once the entry ticket has been purchased, well, your away.

Tivoli is open from May till October plus in the month of December for Christmas.

It combines rides for the kids with concerts for the youth and good restaurants/bars for the adults.

There is a lot of atmosphere in the park, especially at night, the entrance is reasonable in price, but tickets for the rides (or an unlimited rides pass) much be purchased separately.

Tivoli should not be missed.

It is the most beautiful place in Denmark. Best in the summer, but very lovely in december with lights everywhere in all the trees. Come see for yourself.

this place is excelent the only problem is that it smells like a farm. all of the rides were fab and the nighlife was breathtaking

This is a must when in Copenhagen. It's got it all. Rides, live entertainment, flowers, great food. Go in the evening and see it when the lights come on!

I've been there in december, is a great place for adults and children. every kind of lights, fairytales, Santa's houses, and a lot more. Not to be missed, especially for the atmosphere!!!

our first impression was good. it looked very beautiful. entry fee was expensive but that was ok as we expected something special. once inside all we found was typical xmas merchandise which can be bought in so many retail outlets for a lot less, over priced rides which required one to buy tickets from a very non user friendly machine which was ...

First and foremost this place is overrated. My guidebook devoted a lot of space expounding upon how Danish this place was and how nice it was. It was just an amusement park.

You pay first just to get in. If you want to go on rides you either have to buy tickets or buy a free pass. I understand that there are bands in the evening playing etc. ...
