There is no place like Strøget in Copenhagen, Denmark..! It gives an amazing feeling when you walk down the worlds largest pedestrian.. The people and the shops and the atmosphere, is like nothing you have ever experienced before!

Being an American, I am use to car filled streets with narrow sidewalks and few pedestrians. Europe is completely diffrent, and there isn't a better way to experience it than going to Sroget.

It is the longest walking street in the world, (which means no cars or bikes allowed) and itl's filled with bars, shops, cafes, street ...

If you're young and like to shop, you gotta go there and spend at least a day! There's so many great stores and things to se, like "Storke springvandet" in the middle of everything. Everyone, DO IT!

i lived in copenhagen for 10 years a long time ago and have to say it is my favourite place to go,the stroget is by far one of the most exciting streets to walk down with all the shops restaurants bars and of course the friendly danish people you meet there a very pleasant surprise for tourists who go there
