If you're looking to get away from the old city and spend a relaxing afternoon with the Czechs, hop on the red line and get off at vysehrad. Great place to walk around or lay out, good view of the river, very nice cathederal, excellent little beer garden with outdoor grill and 25kc beer and lots of dogs. If you want to relax on a sunny day you can definitely make a nice afternoon out of it.

Vyserad is not so much known by tourists, but the experience is excelent... the ambience from the old walls guarding the city... A nice place to go and relax with good company, nature experience with excelent view to the Moldavia river and Prag.

Located just outside of downtown Prague, Vysehrad Castle is a great place to visit. It features a beautifully renovated cathedral, amazing gardens, and breathtaking vistas. This is my favorite place in Prague. I went alone on a warm spring day and a thunder storm came along during my visit.
