Ah, Salute Pizza - such fond memories of the shop, the owners & employees, and most of all, the pizza. While students at the University, we would dine at Salute several times a week. The Margherita pizza is wonderful - even by U.S. and Italian standards. Never had the guts to go for the Gorgonzola topping, but the Knoblach (garlic) was quite good, too. Glad it's still around.

It's a students restaurant: self-service, cheap, big dishes and very tasty!!!!
When I was a student I went there almost every week! I tried the whole menue card and the following dishes I can recommendate: Almost all the Pastas, especially the Spaghetti Carbonara (the best I've ever eaten!), the Spaghetti Bolognese and the Lasagne. And ...
