Fly over the rainforest!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
The Sky Trek canopy tour at Arenal Volcano is a once in a lifetime experience. You fly over the rainforest and have the volcano on one side and the lake on the other, it's as close as you'll get to heaven. The view is breathtaking, with the rainforest down below and you can see miles away. The adrenaline levels of flying on the canopy cable ...
We left from San Jose by bus to La Fortuna. The trip is about 4 and a half hours but the scenery is interesting and it is a great way to met other travelers and the locals as well. We were told to be prepared to stay in the area up to 4 or 5 days as Arenal volcano can be covered in clouds. Luck was with us as we neared our destination and Arenal ...

I AM GOING AGAIN
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/19/05
IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE..FUN SAFE GREAT VIEWS AND FANTASTIC FOOD, THE TOUR GUIDE COMPANY WAS VERY ORGANIZED, THE TOUR GUIDE WAS FRIENDLY AND JUST THE ATMOSPHERE WAS RELAXING TO ITS OWN
Amazing dining, rustic setting, superb views of the rainforest and volcano (if the weather is clear). A unique experience of hiking to a waterfall, seeing up close an old lava flow and the chance of seeing a big cat or other wildlife. The price for the room and meals was more then reasonable. I had a private guide that included the transportation ...
I have always had an attraction to Central America, I guess it has to do with the fact that I spent 2 years stationed down in Panama in the Jungles as a Paratrooper in the 1980's. I just love the smells of the jungle every morning, the beautiful beaches that are available down here as long as you stay away from the hammerhead sharks in the ...
I loved the climate and afternoon rains. The fresh fruit every day was delicious. La Paz falls the rain forest was beautiful also. Though the roads are windy and slow going, the scenery is fantastic. Downtown San Jose is bustling and fun although a bit confusing. A trip to a coffee plantation is fun as well. I brought home a lot of coffe!!! I cna't wait to go back, next time to see the beaches and coasts.
This resort is a little overpriced if you dont hire a travelers agency to arrange your trip,we stayed there for two nites and we just loved the volcano view and Costa Ricas people. lots of places to go and RELAX.
