costa rica was great i went ther on my honey moon and i want to go back sooooo bad with him!!!i loved the beach soooo much we had the best time just splashing in the water together.

i loved the views at night and saw all the rocks comeing out hte top it was just amazing i would definitly suggest going in the summer so the kids can go thye will love it

This place was amazing!!!! if you enjoy hiking, exploring and wild life I highly recommend it. The food is a bit bland, but overall they provide a great selectin for everyone.

Temperature in this area is not too hot during the day and it's very pleasant in the evening.

I loved everything!!!!!!!! You should go. You will have the time of your life. I did. I was so busy I had no time to rest but if I did I wouldnt have seen all the beautiful scenery.

Its a LONG drive w/ tricky or depending on experience and weather..dangerous. Also when ya get there...in many cases the Volcano is covered in clouds...ie NOTHING to see??!! Otherwise ya can drink and laze in the thermal springs? Id rather hit the beach Like near Manuel Antonio and beyond like Playa Dominica...baby!

Arenal is great to see at night! The lava spilled a lot when we were there but I was told it does not spill that much everyday. It was a nice hike to the viewing spot and a great relaxing night.
Stay in La Fortuna. It is a nice quiet town. There is an amazing waterfall just outside Fortuna that is a MUST.

You must see the Arenal Volcano it is awesome. I could acutally see the lava rocks falling and hear them. I then went to the hot springs resort where you could see the lava in full red color at night. It was just awesome.

this is something i would actually reccomend for families. it is also great for children too. very spectacular and cheep. affordalble for a 5 person family. 5 stars!

This is a must SEE and DO in Costa Rica...

We stayed the Volcano Lodge (great hotel by the way!)
and the view was awesome...Arenal puts on quite a show ...

The area is actually quite nice too...

If you do go there and are in need of a good bilingual ...
