We stayed at Villa Palmyra in Vieques for one (horrible) night. The only AC is in one bedroom, the other 3 bedrooms have no AC. There was glass on the floor from a previous guest who I assume had a party. There were roaches. There were mosquitoes everywhere. The pool was small and dirty. The rooms were dark and depressing.

Definitely visit ...

We stayed for two weeks at villa palmyra, in a very private setting, great beach down the hill, views of the entire caribbean, very affordable and the owners were very helpful with jeep rentals, restaurant ideas, etc. it was truly one of the best vacations ever!

I live out of the island. I think the pictures are great.Make me feel like home again. At least I can enjoy my island and see all the good stuff of it.

I loved the island in general, nature-wise is a gem. Also, it is surprisingly, a culinary haven as you can eat very good everyday at a different restaurant since they have about 10 good restaurants.

Swimming in Biobay is an amazing experience. Renting a car was a fun way to get around the island. Red Beach was our favorite spot to visit, however as of last summer there were no active dive shops in Esperanza, so bring your own gear.
