Liked the filet mignon very much, however, the mark up on the wine was quite over the top. They have a cheap bottle of Chilean red (veramonte) that retails for about $8.00 for $46.00 on their list. I don't mind 100 or even 200 percent, but this is too much!!

We might have known that the size of both the appetizers and entrees was huge when the serverver suggested 1/2 portions - even then the plates were overflowing -- the food is very good, the service is very professional, the room might be a little noisey but you can live with it. Overall a very good review.

The El San Juan Hotel has a great presence on the Isla Verde "strip" -- the Palm is less formal than the lobby and the disco but quite comfortable -- the food is very good and the portions are huge -- our server even suggested that we consider 1/2 orders of appetizers and sides -- good job we did -- we enjoyed our take home doggy bag the next day for lunch in our hotel room ---

I suppose if you are into the Palm restuarants you will love this. I did think that it was very good, but personally, I enjoyed the steaks better at the Outback. This is a place to see and be seen, however.
