This is a real Spanish Tapas Bar and dance club in San Juan. Come to see people dancing Sevillanas and Flamenco. Professional dancers come here in their spare time...
Only problem is that being in Old San Juan was such a hassle that they moved on July 11, 2007 to a larger location with parking at Hato Rey, near the business district and ...

TOURIST TRAP
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/07
Unfortunately, all four of us tourist felt pressured into spending more and more money, eating and drinking. Two of the dancers in the flamenco show were average, the rest were obvious beginners. The waiters and supervisor were courteous, but obviously pressured by their two bosses. I would not return again nor recommend it to others.
I love the ambiance! It is located in Old San Juan, so the Puerto Rico, and as soon as you walk in you feel like you're in a different world and once you've been there a few times, it feels very familial. They have their regulars that go every week, sometimes twice a week, for the ambiance, the food, and Sevillanas!
Divino Bocadito is a perfect place to have a great time and enjoy of excellent spaniard food. It's a place where you ALWAYS feel welcome with the good atention from owners and employees. The music, dances and show are important part of the unique and delightful place located in old San Juan. Yesssssss, I'm looking forward to visit again Divino Bocadito and stay all night long.

Our best weekend spot
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/06
Is a place were you feel like family. Always a personal welcome from owners and employees. They remember your preferences, and you find a frequent group of atendees, that makes the place warmer. Good food, always presenting new Spaniard amenities.
I have been visiting Divino for a couple of years because the atmosphere is great and they make a very good paella.
Last time I visited was for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and me and my friends had a wonderful time. They had a Flamenco show that night(I went on a Saturday) but I had previously visited on a Friday and they also had a show ...

Devine experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/05
Divino is Spanish for devine. No better word could come to mind to express my dining experience at Divino Bocadito. As a "paella" (rice with seafood) lover and world traveler I order the dish wherever its available. From the "Siete Puertas" in Barcelona(where I hear the King of Spain dines), Spain to "Cafe Espaņol" ...

Great dinner and floor show for a reasonable price.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/08/04
I had dinner here on December 1, 2004, with two Puerto Rican friends and a fellow state-sider. We had a wonderful experience. The tapas were excellent, the vegetarian paella was superb, and the dancing/music was delightful. (The dancers were amateurs, but they were terrific.) I intend to return (on vacation next time) with my familiy in the ...
