As soon as you walk in you feel extremely welcome. Everyone was prompt to help and tend to our every need. The food was delicious! The Pina Coladas were excellent.
I Totally enjoyed Barriachina restaurant during my stay in San Juan. It's not very visually pleasing from the outside, but inside I was served promptly, great selection of foods, I had the Mofongo de Yuca, con bistec. My partner had a Shrimp Scampi type dish, which was also delicious. The food was so freaking delicious, it was the best I ate ...
We went to Barrachina in hopes of some good food and a Pina Colada and almost got into a fight! When we first arrived there was no hostess to greet us so we had to find a waitress to seat us. Then we waited for almost 20 minutes for someone to come over and even take a drink order. After watching other tables who came in after us be served we ...

EXCELENTE SERVICIO Y COMIDA
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/08

Oh what I wouldn't give...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/08
When traveling, food is one of the greatest explorations. I ordered the Mofongo with seafood from Barrachina and it was so fantastic I took a picture of my dish so that I had the best memory of it and the person I visited with. Not to mention I drank nothing but pina coladas the entire trip. That Don Q Rum is what I order to have here in the states. You would only be luckier than you know to explore all of Puerto Rico.
The food was great & the service was wonderful! We ate at a couple of restaurants at our resort that were overpriced....Barrachina is reasonably priced and has wonderful food! We had steak & red snapper with creole sauce. Sangrias were wonderful!!
We came to Barrachina recommended by a local in the Courtyard Marriott. He informed us that the place was great. At first, we got there and the place looked wonderful. The greeter- seemed annoyed we were there and didn't even smile while seating us. The waiter kept asking us if we were ready to order when we just sat down. The food was ...

Going back soon
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/05/08
I visited this restaurant back in the summer of 2005 and I am now planning a trip to San Juan for me and my husband. This will be one of our first stops to have dinner once we arrive. I had the fried red snapper and also had some skirt steak when I went back in 2005 and I am sure I will be eating the same things this time around. I would recommend ...
If there is one place that I would always go back to is this restaurant. The food is fresh, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is great. I reconmend this place first before any other restaurant.
