My fiance and I walked through Old San Juan looking for this restaurant. We found it down a cobblestone road and looked like any other shop on the street until we got in. There was music playing and plenty of seating for anyone. We got there the FIRST time and found out they only served appetizers until 6pm. We decided to sit at the bar and ...
I went to Puerto Rico during spring break with my girlfriend and while there we went to old San Juan. I could not find a restraunt that I wanted to eat at down there so I went to the Parrot Club. We had the red snapper and it was delicious. I've tried to duplicted it at home, but it's still not what I had in San Juan. You have to try it if you're in san Juan.
The Sunday brunch sandwich with eggs on top was outstanding along with the Empanadas and the cocotini was the best mixed drink i have ever tasted. It tasted like a coconut creme pie. Went down smooth and way too quick. I look forward to returning.

Staff was wonderful and the cocotini is one that you HAVE to try. The food was pretty good and the desserts were fantastic! The ambiance was great - we actually took photos! Pillows on the bench seats and bright colors added to the feel.
Not worth the wait We made reservations for 8:30pm. We were advised to be there by 8:30 or we would loose our table. We got to the restaurant @ 8:25PM. We were advised that our table would not be ready for 30 min, but maybe less. We waited 55 min for a table. The service was slow and poor. The waiter forgot a drink and a glass of water. The ...

For teh last couple of years we have visited Puerto Rico, about 2 years ago we discovered the Parrot Club. The 1st time we ate there we thought it was great!, little bit over price, but the food was great, so tasty and delicious. Last year in December when we went back the food and the service was so bad we sent them an email. The chef sent us an ...

Food was great and service was supurb! The coffee after dinner was so good I've written asking whose coffee it was. I wish it was just down the street from me.

I was walking around old San juan when rain started pouring down. I just happened to find haven at the parrot club. So i decided to have lunch. I had the BBQ chicken skewers with mofongo. Fantastic! Cleaned off my plate. I had a beer (Medalla, local beer) great, mojito ( great), and a piña colada ( I've had better). The beautiful ...

Overpriced

Even though we liked the food and more or less the service, I did not notice that they automatically include 20% service fee to their receipts and ask for tips on the top. So, after I added 20% tips, I ended up with more than 40% just for the service.
Otherwise the experience was good.

Best Salad I've Ever Had!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/08
There's a salad on the menu with chicken, mango, goat cheese, and whatever else they put in it - It's so good, I can't wait to go back to PR to eat here.
