I went to this establishment with my wife and was disappointed. Over priced and the food was not authentic Puerto Rican food. Small portions. This place is better off serving non-Puerto Rican Tourist.
I used my credit card ONCE during my 4 day trip to Puerto Rico at this restaurant. The next day there were $1000's of fraudulent charges on my card.
In addition to trying to place fraudulent charges on my card, the food was terribly overpriced and the service abysmal, although I'm sure its tough to give good service and steal credit card info at the same time.
My review is based on visit to this rest. a few years ago. I was dissapointed, although the menu carries typical dishes. Although I can't say it is authentic typical Puerto Rican style home cooking. We ordered mofongo with grilled chicken and chicken fricase/stew with white rice, that's what we got nothing more!... well a way tooo ...

Charming & delicious

We were disappointed when our Puerto Rican friends had to cancel our lunch date. Following their advice we still went to Ajili Mojili. Five of us enjoyed the wonderful food and ambience - absolutely a most memorable experience.
Went there 8/08 - had read the reviews and thought we couldn't go wrong - well we did! It was a Sunday night so maybe they had us in a different part of the restaurant and we couldn't figure it out.The place had all the ambiance of a Denny's: booths with bright swag lighting, no tablecloths, windows had closed shutters so no view.It ...

Good Food, Abysmal Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/08
We went to Ajili Mojili for a friend's birthday dinner while on vacation. The food was good, although pricey. But what was stunning to us was how bad the service was. We waited nearly twenty minutes to order. The food service was prompt (and if you go, you have to try the mofongo! It was the restuarant's sole redemption from a one star ...

Awesome food on the Condado
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/07
My first visit to Ajili Mojili was in their "old" location on the Condado, and the next two times was after they moved nearer to the casino hotel. Food is incredible, and to have handsome, attentive Puerto Rican men waiting one's table just adds to the ambiance! A must stop in your travels of Puerto Rico!

Ajili Mojili is NOT authentic
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/07
Ajili Mojili caters to the tourist crowd. If you're looking for authentic PR food, look elsewhere. The food was over priced, and I was embarrassed when I brought friends here who were visiting me on the island. We went on a whim since the hotel recommended it.
