Best Italian Cuisine in Puerto RicoI loved everything, This is true Italian food. The service was excelent, everyone was very attentive to our needs and the food was served right on point. Friendly service, good food at a good priceMy wife has food allergies that can make dining out difficult. The owner listened to our needs and called the chef out to help us. The chef made my wife a custom entree and desert, which were both excellent. I had the veal which had an inventive presentation. Such AMAZING cuisine I can't wait to return!!2 words... Pumpkin Ravioli! Al Dente, is 1 of my favorite places for dinner! Try it! Although, I've never had to wait in the 4 times I visited San Juan last year, if there's a crowd, be patient, enjoy the ambience, it's WELL worth it! ????The worst Italian cuisine ever! Well I am sorry Italian/American cuisine. Overall a very poor show.
The service was not great, although clearly the staff were very stressed at having to explain the problem with half the menu being unavailable - many customers left, we only stayed because we were starving.

Al llegar pedimos agua y tardaron alrededor de 15-20 minutos en traerla y al igual con el pan, los entremeses y la comida. Todo se tardo demasiado y no habian muchos clientes. ExcellentI loved the food and the employees were really responsive.

A Great ExperienceI frequent Puerto Rico for business. I received a referral over 10 years ago about Al Dente and have been going back through the years. It is a good place for a romantic dinner and it is a good place for business. The paintings in the restaurant were created by the owner's wife.
