MAM in Santo Domingo is a comprehensive and modern museum offering the best of modern Dominican painting. The permanent collection is well worth the entrance fee as are Geo Ripley's murals outside of the museum. The museum has hosted numerous prestigious exhibits, most recently, the works on Andy Wharhol, and a Geo Ripley restrospective.
