after taking a cyclo ride to the church, we entered the church. it's high ceilings and big fans was an amazing experience. the service was all in vietnamese, which i could only understand a bit.
it's definitely a place to go to attend Mass if you are Catholic.

This was the highlight of our 23 day trip to Asia. This was the first attraction we visited, and every morning after we purchased coffie across the street and enjoyed the view. A must see. This magnicificant church was breath taking. We plan on returning in the fall of this year The entire city was amazing. The Hospitality unbelievable. We made friends there for life.
I was surprised by the number of Vietnamese Catholics in Hanoi. I went to 7 a.m. Mass and it was packed.
If you're planning on going to Mass, be advised that women sit on the right and men on the left in the church. There were a couple of people who didn't get this, but nobody seemed upset or even pointed it out to them.
