I went to Ayutthaya on 16may 2007 together with my sisters. as a whole it was a fun city. not too hectic and not too crowded and the city full with history. there's a lot of interesting n unique temples that we could enjoy. (although im not a 'temple person')

Especially good if you like Thai religious architecture and history. Take at least one full day or more. Beautiful photo opportunities.

Unforgettable temples

Ayuthaya is on the Thailand's TO DO list. Only an hour and a half from Bangkok, you can enjoy a totally different architecture in a totally different atmosphere. Even if you just spend few days in Bangkok, you can't afford to miss it.

Ayutthaya is definitely worth visiting, you'll get awesome pictures. Maybe try visiting when it's not so hot, there are many temple climbs that are worth taking and the views are amazing.
