simpanses were kept in a very small dirty gages. They all looked really bad. Other animals seemed to suffer also. Very disturbing for the kids. Pure hell for animals. Hopefully they will shut down such places. Not a real zoo or animal park at all. Staff was on our heels and kind of inpolite all the way. I guess video kameras made them uneasy. No wonder why!

this place was terrible. workers constantly stalked me..i couldnt get away..they treated me horribly too! how rude could one thai person be..i dont know..all i know is..if i wanted dirty looks and being shuved and pushed around i would have just visited New York!!
Safari world is pretty amazing and the place has a plethora of different species of animals. The place is very vast and quite well maintained and the theme shows are very good (especially the Spy War),with realistic stunts and good props. However, the actors spoke in Thai,so I couldn't understand a world they were saying. But I was quite disturbed ...

Safari World has its pros and cons.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/23/08
I went to Safari World as my travel agent had booked us tickets on our recent trip to Bangkok. The place is massive and quite well maintained and there are a plethora of different animals in the park.I was particularly disturbed by the treatment of some of the animals. The lions in the safari looked very scrawny and sickly,I don't think the humid ...
Please do not visit the safari world park! BOS (Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation), found out that they illegaly smuggle wild orang utans from the malaysian woods . They hit and abuse the animals to get them trained for their sick shows. Tiger babys live in tiny crates, where at one point in time, they all go mentally ill. I know, ...
I have been to Bangkok many times and never been here but have heard a lot of good things about it. For sure next time I will go. It is 600 baht ( about 18 dollars with a weak buck ) so its not cheap ( unless you earn Euros or pounds) but the kids are only a buck and a quarter... The thing that used to annoy me about Thailand is foreigners always ...

Outstanding place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/07/08
We travelled there with two kids and loved the whole experience. It was as exciting for us adults as it was for the kids. The whole concept is designed to provide instant gratification - no waiting around for a tiger or a lion to appear from behind a bush, they are hanging around in dozens all over. The dolphin show was great too but the entire ...

An Evolutionary leap
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/31/07
I agree whole-heartedly with the opinion of one of the above writers. It is exactly as you would see the animals on discovery channel, only better. Where else in the world could you observe animals that have been trained in these useful skills; the combat art of Mua Thai for the chimpanzees; parrots that can actually ride a bicycle. I feel that ...
A LOT OF WATER WOULD QUENCH THE HEAT. THIS PALCE IS WONDERFUL. VERY EDUCATIONAL FOR THE CHILDREN AND AMUSING TO THE YOUNGTERS.
I DON'T KNOW WHY IT DID NOT PLEASE THE OTHER VISITORS, MAKING SUCH BAD REVIEWS OF THE PLACE. WHY DID THEY VISIT IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEY KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT.
ANIMALS HERE ARE WELL-TREATED. THEY LOOK HEALTHY TO ...

My best trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/06
Safari World was one of the best trips that I made in Thailand. We spent a whole day in this amazing place, where we attempt 5 shows (dolphins, birds, tigers, Wild West (cowboy style show), James Bond Show (with fights just like the movie) and many others, we saw many animals and took a lot of pictures, I don t know why some of the visitors didn’t ...
