As a Taipei native, I spent a lot of time at the old zoo when I was young, and was kind of sad to hear it had moved. But it turned out to be a wonderful place, much cleaner, more modern, and generally more pleasant than the antiquated zoo of my memory. Of course, size has its downsides, but I'm sure the animals are happier in the new facility, and this makes them better exhibits. The only thing they're missing now is a panda.
