Substantial collection and research resources; lovely, quiet ambience; small, thoughtfully curated exhibits that change periodically. A wonderful way to spend 2-3 hours of an afternoon, have a visual feast and learn something. Not a crowd scene. I last visited in 2003; it was closed in winter 2005. I hope it will be open in Jan. 2007 when I visit Taiwan again.
