The food at Very Thai was quite good, actually. The ambience is casual, and the service average, but it's worth visiting for the food.

Very Thai provided great food, good service, and a fine atmosphere. Food was very tasty, delivered quickly, and well presented. The staff was friendly and efficient. We also had good cocktails prior to our meal. I'd suggest reservations if you come at peak hours (6 - 8:30 on weekends) and taking a taxi to avoid parking hassles.

Went to this joint with my girlfriend and had four dishes: spicy beef with cherry tomatoes and mint; tom yum gung; sizzling seafood platter and string beans with prawn taste. All the dishes were very tasty prepared with beautifully fresh ingredients. The service was very quick and attentive, if not outstanding. NTD1,400 all up.
