Shintori is one of those Japanese fusion restaurants that are "hip" and lots of people frequent. The atmosphere IS good, some of the dishes are creative, but is it a GREAT Japanese restaurant? No. I would not rank in top-notch in terms of food.

However, it's a great place to go with friends and enjoy a nice meal. It's also frequented by the business lunch/dinner crowd.
