The place is nice, peaceful, and good view. You can see Penang town. Taking the train up to the hill is fun!
This is a good place to go...highly recommended... There is a very Nice View of the whole penang... If you like to walk... must walk though the mountain..
Lovely view of the island and an interesting trip up on the railway. The hotel had a hot pot restaurant [this was 2004] and the food is good. Slow but steady, halfway cross over to the second part of the ascend and you are there to be greeted with a slightly cooler temperature and refreshing breeze. It is a ...
We visited Penang Hill (Bukit Bendera) twice on our recent holiday in Penang (March 2007).We find that the walk around top estate (2 miles) is long enough in that heat, but truly inspirational because of the varying views and being in the jungle. Tea in the colonial Bellview Hotel is a must. Anyone visiting the island of Penang, just has to visit Bukit Bendera.
