After 20 years it was good to drop in and have a quiet beer.Came here with 3RAR '79,80,and with 2/4 RAR (The Dirty Dozen)'87.Had Xmas Day and New Years eve leaning against the bar.Makes it easy when you are in good company.Good for ex-diggers and backpackers.

After many years away, I happened to drop in to the HKB in March 08, it's still a good place for a few quiet ones.

Really nice place with nice staff. Can´t wait to get back. I had the best time (mostly drinking) in HKB when I was staying in Penang
