petrosains is nothing great. u can see the same exhibits and demos at ur local science centre. unless u have small children it can be given a miss- our daughter who is 5 years old of couse enjoyed it.
A great place to learn n also to have fun. Most esp I love the helicopter simulation thing n also we can get a chance to know how the Ptronas workers work. Its a great place for children as well as adults. Awesome!!

Kids really enjoyed it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/26/07
The best part of this museum is the way you arrive; in style on the 'dark ride', kind of like a very slow rollercoaster, giving information about Malaysia and its people. The exhibits are excellent, well maintained and there are always enthusiastic employees nearby who will leap to help you if you show the slightest hesitation in operating ...

Kids will love it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/23/07
Helpful & enthusiastic staff. Kids can spend hours enjoying the exhibits while you shop! Worth paying for both exhibits ie Petosains & the 'speed' exhibit.
The place is good for all ages but mostly for kids because it's a lot educational. Place is cool, bring sweaters with you too. Visit the place early so it's not yet crowded and you can still have more time to visit the mall, twin towers and other places in KL. You can come to KLCC by Putra LRT line, just alight at the KLCC station.

Fun for whole family
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/01/06
We have been to the Petrosains twice and enjoyed ourselves both times. This is a great place for everyone in the family and to introduce kids to science. It's one-of-a-kind museum that is interactive. We enjoyed the ride passed the rainforest to the museum and on the way back to the station. There are also simulator rides and you can explore a petroleum site. A must see if you're in KLCC.

Not open Mondays
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/06
I visited Petrosains on a Monday, but it and the Bridge across the twin towers are both closed Mondays. When it was open the next day I had a good visit, but it isn't up to standard I'm used to at Ontario Science Center. It is focused on Oil

Petrosains is a very popular place with the locals and tourists alike. There are science exhibits for all ages. The experiements are designed to be very interactive. There are shows and skits, a dancing T-rex dinosaur, and even a playroom for children under the age of six. You will enjoy the space ship ride into Petrosains, which shows a five ...

Petrosains is so fun because its about daily sciences that happen but we don't notice..its definitely something you have to do when in Kuala Lumpur!! Kinda cheap since its subsidised by Petronas. The mini shows that they have at each station are very educational and just amazing because you can do it right at home! The staff and volunteers ...
