I loved this nice artisy area and got a lot of wonderful art and gifts to take back home. There are a lot of art stores that have rice paper paintings and cloth scrolls. Be careful as the same things are in many different shops so it's easy to hold out for better prices down the street. Sometimes I was successful in bargaining for prices.

Insadong is my favorite part of Seoul. It is quiet yet bustling. On the weekends it is traffic free. There are tons of little stores selling everything and everything.
