Best in SeoulThai Orchid is by far the best and most authentic Thai restaurant I have been to in Seoul. The atmostphere is lovely and the service is tops. The food tastes very authentic and there is a good variety to choose from including meal sets.

Just AcceptableI grew up in Northern California where Thai restaurants are quite common. I've long considered Thai food to be the best food on the planet, and if I had to eat one cuisine for the rest of my life it would be Thai. I've also visited Thailand twice this year, sampling many restaurants and dishes.

Like you just stepped into Thailand.It was such a nice change to find someting so authentic in the "fushion" food mess that you find in other so called Western or Foreign restaurants. Great food but not so pleasing ambienceThis is the best Thai food, I ever had in Korea. Quite authentic. Not 5 star for review because place looks to be little bit congested. However service is nice and price is not so expensive (compared to Korean standard of living). Best Thai outside ThailandI am currently living in Korea and was also here 8 years ago. I discovered Thai Orchid then. It is as good now as I ever remembered it. Our hosting spotWe go here often for hosting or just a bit of good food when the wife and I are in the Itaewon district in Seoul. The food is fresh and hot, the service attentive and the ambiance is relaxing. Prices are high, but on par with other foreign restaurants we have been to in Seoul.
