The place is nothing what the other reviews said. I was just there yesterday (4/20/09) and there is no playstation room. To sum it all up, you can see their TVs, cameras, phones, headphones, and computers. Granted you can play with the focus on a camera (woo hoo, and I'm being sarcastic) but that's about it. They have shopping there, like 5 ...
I was just there in May for a three week trip and the area for the Playstation is no longer there. Was a very big disapointment.

Great place for family. There were too many people. The Play Station room was sweet. The movies in there are cool. It's a great place to visit anytime. The overall experience was excellent.

The Sony building is a glimpse into tomorrow. You can view cutting edge products that are not yet available for purchase. It is a multi-story building in the heart of the Ginza district of Tokyo. There is no charge to wander around and they even have a duty free zone. The staff is very friendly and will answer any questions as long as you ...

i LOVED IT SO MUCH its a musc see essential really you must see it, its a must see for anyone who likes sony. It's so amazing you have to go see it i really cant explain how good it is, i loved it and im going again very soon.
Sony building is Ok place to visit if you are already in the Urakucho area. It is Sony products show room. Unless you have interest in particular products, you might find is a little boring. However, it is free to go in so, if you want to kill time, or meet up,it is a good place.

Omg you wouldnt wait to be there.

This was the most awesome place I've ever been too. You wont wait to be there! I went and I was amazed there were videogame systems there and everything!
It was free so I can't complain. If you are a techie then it would be something to do early in the day. I would leave the afternoon open for something more exciting. It is one of those "been, there, done that, and moved on" experiences. I would not return for a second visit unless I lived in Tokyo and was interested in purchasing one of Sony's products and wanted to try it before I bought.
