    Tokyo is such a modern city but this temple and shrine are beautiful examples of its rich culture and history. They are very easy to find and even better, they are free!

    This place is an amazing blend of buddhist temple and shinto shrine. The shrine itself is contructed of wood and has beautiful carvings everywhere. The fox mound is quite a unique experience.

    This is one of my most favorite temple/shrine in Tokyo. It is breathtakingly beautiful and the story behind the creation is equally enchanting!!! A little pocket of serenity tucked away in a bustling city.
